IWL’s Brand You Leadership Series
The Business Case
Today as women face the challenge of managing their careers to maximize professional and personal goals, they often struggle with how to develop their own leadership skills and effectively enhance their professional presence and status within an organization. In order for individuals to reach the highest levels of management, it is essential for them to recognize, understand, and transform common business challenges into career building opportunities.
Our leadership series offers a rigorous combination of assessments, lectures, interactive exercises and lessons learned through real life experiences. Participants explore frameworks and tactics to ultimately achieve their goals. They have the opportunity to develop personally and professionally in a dynamic and safe learning environment.
The IWL Brand You Leadership Series is unique in that we collaborate with community and corporate partners to bring first-rate, experienced facilitators that bring value to every participant. The leadership series is designed through our extensive research to help women confront critical areas including: negotiation, team effectiveness, power and relationships, social networks and influence, and communication. We empower participants, both male and female, with the latest techniques to navigate these complex management challenges.
This leadership series is designed to create sustainable change for organizations through their most valuable asset: their people. Developing individuals and teams through our research-based programs sets organizations up for success; companies experience better performance, increased ROI and decreased turnover. We understand the critical differences in leadership styles of men and women. These programs help participants understand how to work effectively with others – regardless of gender, styles of communication, or position in a company – in a way that creates better performance and real results.
Who Should Attend?
The series is designed for individual contributors or functional managers who aspire to positions of greater influence and authority in their organizations as well as those identified by their companies as emerging leaders. Mid-level and senior-level managers leading teams with direct reports will benefit greatly from these courses as well as entrepreneurs and business owners. Although geared intentionally toward women for diversity and inclusion efforts, these programs offer men an equal opportunity for self-development. The same critical areas that research indicates women need are topics that men benefit from as well.
